Absence Notification Policy

PYCO members are allowed two absences only per semester. Members must inform the music director of their absences as soon as possible in writing by sending an email to info@pyco.org. No verbal notifications are allowed.

In the case of an emergency that comes up the day of rehearsal, please inform the music director by calling 412-445-4500 (Please, use this number only for emergencies)

If a member knows in advance that she or he will have more than 2 absences, she or he must discuss it with the music director beforehand. A strict attendance policy is maintained to ensure the quality of our Chamber Orchestra.

Dismissal from the orchestra will occur with 3 absences and there will be no refund of tuition.
